Visitors from the outside are placed in a negative pressure booth at the entrance and safely transferred to the visiting room under negative pressure isolation. The "Ivy" visiting booth is compact enough to fit in an elevator.

The compactly designed "Ivy" is 80 cm wide. It can pass through doors and other openings, and can also take an elevator to another floor. The visiting place is not only in the "visiting room", but also in the dining room, the living room, and other rooms, so that end-of-life care and visits with residents who cannot travel to the visiting room can be realized. In other words, the "visiting room" is where the Ivy can go. Ivy can create a visiting situation similar to that before the COVID-19 disaster.

4 Features of Ivy

Equipped with a unique safety feature "pressure check port"

The "visualization of pressure" function allows easy confirmation of safety (negative/positive pressure) during transportation and during visits. This function realizes "pressure visualization." If the booth is under negative pressure, the bag attached to the confirmation port expands inward in the booth, and if the pressure is positive, it expands outward. By keeping the confirmation opening in your vision at all times during transportation and visits, you can check the safety (pressure status) without looking at the pressure gauge every time.

Remove casters for fixed use

Casters can be removed for fixed use of Ivy. Some municipalities may provide subsidies for fixed use only. Since Ivy can be disassembled, it can also be used without casters (as a fixed type).

Addition of an optional simple visiting room to provide two entrances

An optional simple visiting room can be added to secure entrances in two directions. The entrance to the simple visiting room has zippers on both sides, so the entire entrance can be opened. Ivy also comes with a cordless telephone, so conversations can be conducted without difficulty.

"Photocatalytic treatment" for COVID-19 virus

Mobile Negative Pressure Booth "Ivy" is coated with the world's first special processing treatment (photocatalytic and antibacterial coating treatment) for the new coronavirus. This treatment, which was jointly researched by the Tokyo National University of Technology, Nara Medical University, and Kanagawa Prefectural Institute of Industrial Technology, inactivates the new coronavirus in 4 hours even when stored in a dark place.

Color Image

The color of the Ivy Series panels can be selected free of charge from 3M Dynoc sheet. If you do not specify a color, the standard color will be used. The color of the aluminum frame is basically one color. If you wish to change the color, we will charge for the change.

Ivy subsidy (for nursing care)

The contents have been expanded since the FY2021 supplementary budget.

Support will be provided not only for securing the entrance in two directions.
Installation or expansion of multiple meeting rooms (expansion of floor space) in order to avoid crowding.
Installation of a new screen room when there is no family meeting room.
Installation of negative pressure devices and ventilation systems are also allowed.

Regarding the subsidy for the Ivy Meeting Booth (Support for Family Meeting Rooms), please note the following items because the interpretation differs depending on the local government:

When two entrances are required

From the supplementary budget decided by the Cabinet in November 2021, it is no longer necessary to have a two way entrance, but some municipalities may require that there be a two way entrance this term as well. In that case, please consult with us because the grant decision has been issued in the following way:

Connect the optional tent-type screen room (see below) to the Ivy.
Partition off the area for meetings and divide the entrance for the visitors in Ivy and the entrance for the residence elderly people.

Ivy Fixed Use

Ivy is usually used to move family members from the door to the place of meeting by isolating them with negative pressure. Yet, some local governments exclude the subsidy if it is used by moving it.In some cases, if the product is equipped with casters, it is considered to be for transportation and is not eligible for the subsidy.

Ivy can be disassembled and the casters can be removed for use.
Ivy is designed to be disassembled for compact storage when not in use. The staff can disassemble and assemble the Ivy main unit and install and remove the casters.
